February has drawn to a close, and while the month went by entirely too fast, I was glad I was able to pay my respects to a few of the people who assisted in my life now in 2012.
With Black History Month over, I challenge everyone to continue where these people left off, or if they are still here… assisting in the journey to become brighter, stronger, more compassionate and a more united people.
Black History month should not only be a month of recognition it should be a constant reminder of just how lucky we are to be where we are today. People lived, fought, cried and died for us… let their path of struggle not be for naught.
